This rare Brighton show finds William D Drake seated at a beautiful grand piano upon which he will weave his extraordinary and unique blend of timelessly sumptuous, psychedelic music. Music like you may have never dreamed possible. Crayola Lectern will warm up the piano seat for Mr Drake by playing some of his otherworldly songs with Casiotonic accompaniment from his lovely assistant, Mr Jon Poole. Doors open 6.30pm. Please note, this is an all ages show. Alcohol is not sold on the premises and not permitted in the Meeting House. However, the show will finish at 9.30pm, giving everyone plenty of time to go to one of the many nearby public houses.

William D Drake and his Very Big Band are to perform songs from the album "Briny Hooves" at this sumptuous venue. The lineup will include: Robert Leith (drums), Dean Gaisburgh-Watkyn (Bass Guitar), Terence Pitt (trumpet and voice), James Larcombe (harmonium, organ and voice), Sarah Jones (recorder,voice and shaker), Sharron Fortnam (voice), Benedict Davies (Mellotron), Bernard Holden (clarinet and saxophone) and Darryl Anthony (Guitars). Two hauntingly beautiful trios - in vastly different ways - will be providing support for this evening: 'Society of Imaginary Friends' and sheBear-band 'The Summer Sang'. We look forward to seeing you there!

Hark! William D Drake’s annual Bull & Gate show is nigh! SO... time to unwrap that sweaty mattress and traipse up\down-across to Kentish Town for the fun and frolic of a lifetime! Accompanying Mr D are James Larcombe and Terence Trum-Pitt, who have been forced to imbibe some new fodder. One or two old faces - and perhaps a youngish one - may even be on the cards... godwilling... Support comes from Dominic ’Mr Skin’ Luckman’s creme-de-la-creme-de-Worcester band, Stuntdog; also, tipped-for-the-top indie-rocknuts Boog.
